Kilchoan sits on the Southern shore of the stunning Ardnamurchan peninsula – which at its tip is the UK’s most Westerly point, making Kilchoan itself the Westernmost village on the UK mainland.

Kilchoan is a small village of scattered dwellings along the rugged Sound of Mull coastline. A great base to stay if you are using the Calmac ferry which operates the 35 minute sailing across the Sound of Mull between Kilchoan and Tobermory.

The unspoilt white sandy beaches on the north of the peninsula has crystal clear blue waters and is one of the area’s great attractions.

20 minute drive from the hotel is the magical Sanna Beach, the most pristine of the beaches near to the hotel. Sanna Bay is a West Highland gem: the beach, usually fairly deserted, is about 500 yards long, separating the ancient clachans of Sanna and Portuairk.
