Rain Dance Investments has roots in the manufacturing engineering sector going back to 1849.
Since 2010 Rain Dance Investments has focused on operating, managing and investing in new and exciting companies and opportunities covering a variety of industry sectors.
Under its direct control and management it operates in both the UK and overseas in the farming, land management, renewable energy production, and automotive manufacturing sectors.
In addition, it operates as an associate company in whisky distilling, manufacturing, and renewable energy businesses.
As an “Angel” and early stage investor in technology companies it invests but, more importantly, offers guidance, advice, and expertise when required to assist in fulfilling the potential of these young and aspiring high technology companies.
In all of its activities Rain Dance Investments attempts to provide a degree of synergy between the companies which it manages or in which it is involved through a commonality of either underlying technologies, application areas, target markets, or end users.
As part of its culture of “giving something back” it also provides the management function, at no cost, for two registered charities which assist in the funding of further education for the young people from, and the furtherance of cultural and historic aspects of, one of the most remote and geographically isolated parts of the UK.
